If your job receives fewer than five applications in its first 30 days, we extend it for another 30 days at no cost. If it is still below five, we extend it once more, up to a maximum of 90 days in total.

A free listing shows the job title, company and location, then links to your careers page. It relies on candidates finding it. A promoted job activates the StartupJobs Performance Engine: targeted social campaigns, continuous optimisation and remarketing for 30 days. You also get priority placement, a complete job page, direct applications, Google for Jobs eligibility, weekly reporting and our five-application guarantee.
What is the StartupJobs Performance Engine?
It is the system behind the paid candidate campaign included with every promoted job. We use the role, location and requirements from your job to run targeted ads on Facebook, Instagram and Threads. We monitor performance throughout the 30 days, adjust targeting and creative when needed, and use remarketing to bring interested visitors back. Our campaigns won the DJAx Award for Best Social Media Presence to fill Job Postings. We prepare the campaign creative. If you already have creative you want us to use, you can provide it. The Performance Engine is activated only for promoted jobs. It is not included with free listings.
Who prepares the campaign creative?
We do. We turn the key information from your job into campaign messages and creative, then manage them throughout the campaign. If you have your own creative, you can provide it and we will use it instead.
Where will candidates come from if StartupJobs is new in Ireland?
You do not have to wait for us to build a large local audience. Every promoted job activates the StartupJobs Performance Engine, which reaches potential candidates through Facebook, Instagram and Threads and brings interested visitors back through remarketing. The media budget is included. Your job also receives priority placement on StartupJobs and is published with structured data for Google for Jobs.
What happens if fewer than five people apply?
After the first 30 days, we extend the job for another 30 days at no cost. If necessary, we extend it once more, up to 90 days in total. Extensions are automatic. The guarantee provides extra time, not a refund.
Which applications count towards the guarantee?
We count applications submitted directly through StartupJobs, because those are the applications we can verify. Clicks and applications completed on an external careers page do not count.
Do we need an account?
No. You pay using your email address and manage the job and company profile through secure links we send you. There is no password or dashboard to maintain.
How soon will our job be published?
A person reviews every promoted job before it goes live. This usually happens within a few hours of payment.
Is our company a startup?
If your company is growing fast, bringing something genuinely new to the market and is less than ten years old, or is still looking for product-market fit, it is likely to qualify. We do not accept staffing agencies or large corporations. If you are unsure, email us before purchasing.
How do we remove our company?
Use the “Remove my company” link on your profile or in any email from us. We will remove the company within 24 hours, at no cost.
Do you charge VAT?
Prices exclude VAT. Within the EU, reverse charge applies. Outside the EU, no VAT is charged.
