Backend Software Engineer
Backend engineer role building and maintaining scalable Python services for Wayflyer’s financial products. The role sits within the backend/engineering team supporting customer-facing and internal systems.
What you'll do
- Design and develop scalable backend services with Python and Django
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs for customer and internal apps
- Implement data models and database schemas for financial services
- Write testable code and maintain unit and integration tests
- Monitor, optimize, and ensure availability of production systems
